The days I spent working at Starbucks
Coffee. Work. Repeat

Since COVID, we initially shifted to working from home, and now it has evolved into a hybrid work culture. As I continue in hybrid mode, I’m enjoying the flexibility and balance it brings in my own way.
I believe enjoying work in a hybrid mode is important. One day we’re in the office, surrounded by energy and productivity, and the next day we’re working from home. I’m not saying we aren’t productive at home; we definitely are, but there’s a sense of relaxation and comfort that we feel at home.
That’s why I decided to make my hybrid working style a little more interesting for myself, so I can create meaningful memories and add new experiences along the way.
After giving it a lot of thought, I decided to go to Starbucks to get some work done since it’s quite close to my place. This isn’t any promotion or publicity; I just genuinely enjoy working there. The environment makes me feel more productive, and a good cup of coffee always gives me that extra push.
In a hybrid work setup, I’ve realized it’s important to step out every once in a while. Changing your workspace, even for a few hours, can really uplift your mood and make work feel more refreshing and enjoyable. When I worked there for the first time, I realized that many people are already used to working from places like this; it’s actually not a big deal. That made me think differently. At least I’m trying to step out of the usual routine and do something a little out of the box for myself.
And honestly, even if others are not used to it, I would still love to continue this. Because in the end, it’s not about what others are doing, it’s about what makes me feel productive and comfortable.
My First Ever Work Day at Starbucks

Since that first visit, I’ve been going to Starbucks only for work, and I’ve had countless visits since then. I’ve captured so many moments there; sometimes I forgot to, but that’s okay. These little experiences have turned into beautiful memories that I’ll always carry with me.

One of the most important things about visiting a social place like Starbucks regularly is how it helps you become more social. Over time, people start recognizing you, and you naturally become a part of that space. Almost every staff member knows me now, and whenever I walk in, they welcome me with warm smiles.
I’ve also made a few friends along the way. Some people come there just for coffee, while others come to work, but either way, it creates a space where conversations start naturally. It feels good to connect with people, even in small, simple ways.

If you’re working from home or in a hybrid setup, make the most of this time. Don’t hesitate to add a little creativity to your routine, step out, change your environment, and try something new. These small changes are the moments you’ll remember later, and I can assure you, they will definitely boost your productivity.
